Notre Dame College School - 40th annual Pilgrimage for the Developing World
On October 25th, Notre Dame College School held its 40th annual Pilgrimage for the Developing World. A total of $42,700 was raised. Funds were directed to 3 organizations and presented at the school’s Advent Mass on Wednesday December 16th . From left, Mr. Paul Ferracuti (on behalf of the Dominican Canadian Community Development Group), Grade 11 student Dena Attalah, Fr. Christopher Gillen, accepting on behalf of the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace), Fr. Vijay Amirtharaj (accepting on behalf of the Holy Cross Fathers mission work in Lima Peru), and Notre Dame principal Mr. Ralph DeFazio.
Fr. Christopher Gillen, Social Justice Representative and Spiritual Advisor of the Diocesan Council for Development and Peace, receives a donation of $21,350 from Mr. Ralph DeFazio, principal of Notre Dame College School in Welland. The money was raised from the school's 40th annual Pilgrimage held on October 25th. In total, $42,700 and divided among 3 different organizations.

St Patrick's Parish 125th Anniversary
On Saturday October 25th St Patrick's Parishioners gathered to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the Parish.
Gift To St Patrick's Parish
At their recent Centennial Celebrations on March 28th the Knights of Columbus Council 1394 donated a recently discovered 100 year old picture of St Patrick to St Patrick's Parish. The Knights very kindly had the picture restored and presented it to Fr. Chris.
